When participation becomes stewardship.
The IDG Deep Dive Immersion is more than a gathering. It is a rare opportunity for the wider IDG community to come together in a way that few spaces make possible: with time, depth, trust, and a shared commitment to inner development in service of a thriving world.
Over four days on Ekskäret Island, we will strengthen existing relationships and form new ones, creating the foundations for peer support, fresh ideas, collaborations, and co-creation that can continue long after we leave the island.
Unlike a training programme, this is an emergent space. Rather than arriving with all the answers or following a fixed curriculum, we will turn our attention together to the questions that matter now: Where is the world today? Where is it heading? What is being asked of us? And how can the IDG movement be of real service at this moment?
The Deep Dive is an open invitation to anyone who feels connected to this calling, to gather on a beautiful private island in the Stockholm archipelago's early days of autumn.

A central thread
A dialogue with IDG co-founder Erik Fernholm
A central part of the immersion will be a living exploration with Erik Fernholm, bringing his perspective on inner development, systems change, and the challenges and possibilities ahead.
This will not be a lecture from the front of the room, but a collective inquiry, one in which every participant has something meaningful to contribute.

The Venue
Ekskäret Island.
Located in the Stockholm Archipelago, Ekskäret provides a unique environment for reflection, dialogue, learning, and community.
Surrounded by nature and removed from everyday distractions, the island offers the conditions needed for deep conversation, meaningful connection, and collective exploration. The island also holds a meaningful place in the origins of the IDG movement. We hope this gathering will become a yearly moment for the wider community to reconnect, learn, and create together.

- We meet at Stockholm City (Cityterminalen) and take the bus together by 09:45 on October 1. From there we continue by boat to Ekskäret. The program ends with a drop-off at Stockholm City (Cityterminalen) around 16:30 on October 4.

Who is eligible to attend?+
The Deep Dive is open to anyone who considers themselves an advocate for inner development and wants to explore its importance for a more sustainable world. No prior certification or formal affiliation is required. If you are unsure whether the gathering is right for you, please contact us.
Are low-income tickets available?+
Yes. A limited number of five tickets are available at a reduced rate of €750 for participants with limited financial means. These are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis during registration.
What is the accommodation like?+
Participants stay in shared twin rooms in quiet wooden lodges on the island. Bedding and towels are provided. If you have specific needs or would prefer to be roomed with someone in particular, let us know when you register.
What meals are included?+
All meals are included: breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day, prepared on the island with nourishing ingredients. We aim to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other common dietary needs. Please share any requirements when you register.
How do I get to the island?+
Return transport from Stockholm is included. We meet at Stockholm City (Cityterminalen) and take the bus together by 09:45 on October 1, then continue by boat to Ekskäret. On October 4 the program ends with a drop-off at Stockholm City (Cityterminalen) around 16:30. Detailed travel information will be shared with registered participants well in advance.
What about accessibility?+
Ekskäret is a natural island with uneven ground, wooden buildings, and shared bathroom facilities. Some areas are not fully accessible for wheelchairs or people with limited mobility. If you have accessibility needs or questions, please reach out before registering so we can discuss how to support you.
